"Homeros Pension has two separate buildings and bagloads of character. The owner, Derivs, is a carpenter with a real eye for what can be done with flea market finds. He built most of the furnishings in the delightful air-conditioned rooms in the building across the road himself. Rooms in the main building are simpler (and cheaper) and there’s a pleasant rooftop terrace where Dervis’ mother and sister serve up delicious home-cooked meals. Guests can borrow bikes free of charge.”
